Join us for our fourth Candid Conversations' call of 2021 with guest presenter Kelly Gillis, Deputy Minister, Infrastructure and Communities with the Government of Canada.
Kelly and her department provide long-term, predictable support to help Canadians benefit from world-class, modern public infrastructure and help address complex challenges, ranging from the rapid growth of our cities, to climate change, and environmental threats to our water and land. The focus of her talk will be on the latest news arising from the federal government's economic recovery plan and the critical role infrastructure is playing in creating jobs, boosting economic growth and building for the future of all Canadians as we work to emerge successfully from the pandemic.
Our member-only calls focus on the central role all governments agree infrastructure will play in driving economic recovery as we come out of the pandemic. Each month, industry leaders will join us to present their perspective on the challenges and opportunities ahead, how the organizations they lead have geared up to address these and how they might collaborate with government to achieve the very best outcomes for Canadians.
